Smithy
Cottage
as
its name suggests was once the home of the village blacksmith.
The old smithy is still attached to the cottage, adding additional character
to this delightful holiday home.
The cottage stands in its own garden beside a
beck, and has three bedrooms upstairs,
one double, one twin and one single bedroom, also a bathroom with shower.

Downstairs there is a dining room and lounge, both
with open fires, a kitchen, walk-in larder and bathroom
plus shower..
There is television,
radio and telephone in the living room and electric cooker,
fridge, microwave oven, and washing machine in the kitchen. Outside
in the old smithy is a tumble drier and a deep freeze to
cater for those with special dietary needs who may wish to bring their own
supply of food. For year round comfort the cottage has oil
fired central heating throughout.

All linen is included together
with oil for the central heating and coal for the open
fire. The electricity and telephone charges are calculated
by meter reading. In the lounge there is a colour television
and video. A high chair is provided.
